Prepare for a never-seen-before event! Belgian Beats and Noir Jaune Rouge Events are ready to present you a show that was never shown before in Belgium and this on Saturday, October 14th in Palace 12 of Brussels Expo. The event is completely built around 3D holograms which will be projected together with unique images on a stage of more than 150 m2. On certain moments the visitors will become full part of the show through their 3D glasses. Next to that, a line-up of 15 international big guns and Belgian top-acts in two rooms will complete this extraordinary spectacle.
Holographic Dimension is themed around holograms with an exclusive, visual show consisting of a gigantic production covering the complete stage of Palace 12 (+/- 150m²), floating 3D effects, extraordinary images especially created in a studio for the occasion. With as cherry on the cake of this enormous spectacle: stereoscopic content which will enable the visitors to fully enter the show during 5 minute intervals every hour. By putting on their 3D glasses, they will see huge forms come straight to them on the dance-floor, a show which has never been brought to Belgium before!
However, it’s not because the Belgian Beats team, assisted by the organizers of the Noir Jaune Rouge Events, have put their focus on a unique show and the interactive aspect with the public that they will put less effort in the musical aspect of the night, on the contrary.
The festivities will start at 21h00 and will go on till about 6 o’clock in the morning. The artists will be presented on two stages: big international names on the Main / Holo stage with Boris Brejcha; Kolombo ; Jay Lumen ; Sasha Carassi ; Fjaak (Live) and Ian Pooley. And a lot of Belgian talents on the Belgian Beats stage such as Fabrice Lig; Filterheadz; Pole Folder b2b CP ; Zzino & Guss Carver (Live) ; Waats (Live) ; Flart und Kuss (Live) next to the winner of the DJ contest, meaning at least 15 artists over both stages.
Boris Brejcha was active on the legendary German Harthouse label for many years. It was there that he developed his very own style of music which he calls ‘High-Tec Minimal’: a combination of minimal and electro that proves to be highly effective on the dance-floor and led to a big breakthrough in his career. After his 4th album ‘Feuerfalter’ he left Harthouse to concentrate fully on his own label ‘Fckng Serious’. And even though he appears on stage as ‘The Joker’, he takes his job as dj. very seriously. It takes him to the biggest festivals and clubs all over the world. And on Saturday, October 14th also to us!
Fjaak Live is one of the big new revelations in the electronic scene. At the beginning there were drums and guitars. Then these three Berlin boys discovered their love for analogue, electronic instruments. In 2014 they had their big breakthrough with the hit “Don't Leave Me”. But up till today FJAAK is still a band. For them jamming is essential for their creative process. Their tracks bring back an open-mindedness and accessibility to the scene.
Ian Pooley is a true veteran to the house and techno scene with over 20 years of experience under his belt. He remains popular to this day and legendary labels as Ostgut Ton from Berlin keep using his tracks on their compilations. Next to that you can find Ian Pooley releases on labels as Innervisions, Ovum & Scuba and obviously his own labels Pooledmusic and Montage. His 5 artist-albums remain classics and he will undoubtely appeal to both the younger and older generations on Holograpic Dimension.
Sasha Carassi managed to rise above the flux of producers hailing from his native Napoli. By leaving his mark on labels such as Drumcode, Harthouse, Sleaze, Respekt, 8 Sided Dice and many others, he established himself firmly in the world of serious Techno. All of this well-deserved hype brought on remixes and collaborations with the likes of Joseph Capriati, Brian Sanhaji, Spektre, … Sasha Carassi's plan could not be complete without his Techno love-children: Globox Recordings and Phobiq Recordings. Artists such as Brian Sanhaji, Spektre, Slam, Adam Jay, BCR Boys, Matador and a slew of talented producers pushing the Techno envelope have all graced the labels over the past few years.
Jay Lumen is a Hungarian techno producer and dj. He is the founder of Footwork Records and has appeared on Drumcode, Saved, 100% Pure, Cadenza and Octopus Records. Lumen has collaborated with Green Velvet, Harvey Mckay, Gary beck, Popof, Wade, Sasha Carassi and Roberto Capuano. Lumen's music has been played on radio stations and podcasts in several countries including BBC Radio1, Annie Mac and Pete Tong’s radio-shows. He won the award for ‘Underground DJ Of The Year’ at the Ballantine's Music Awards three years in a row. Lumen was listed on Beatport as number 2 highest sales in the techno category and polled at number 26 in the prestigious Resident Advisor Top 100 Dj’s list. Another high-roller on Holographic Dimension!
Kolombo may be Belgian, he is an international star. His booking schedule for the next months goes from Mexico to Spain, from the United States to Russia and from Indonesia to Australia. In fact he has only two Belgian shows planned till the end of the year and we’re very happy that one of them is at Holographic Dimension. Kolombo truly masters the art of modern production like not many of his peers and has experimented with many dance music genres trough various pseudonyms. This led to a huge discography that includes releases on some of the world's finest electronic imprints including Kompakt, Noir Music, Turbo, Eskimo, Future Classic, Systematic, Boxer...
